The move is meant to allow for the excavation and installation of a cross culvert along the section.

The closure will be between Monday, December 25, 2023 at 9 pm to Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 4 am.

The move is meant to allow for the excavation and installation of a cross culvert along the section.
"To minimise traffic traffic disruption during this period, the closure will only affect two out of the four lanes. Motorists will be required to use the two Mombasa bound lanes as they exercise caution on this section," KeNHA said in a statement on Sunday.
"Motorists are therefore advised to approach the section with caution and to follow the traffic signs and guidelines in place."
